Re-entrant tacchycardias
There is an extra pathway, or "wire" if you will, for electricity to take
in some people's heart. Now and then the normal wire and the extra
wire can form a circuit that perpetuates itself more rapidly than normal.
A radio frequency ablation fries that extra "wire" so the abnormal rapid
conduction can't take place. It's one of those heart things
that can be completely cured about 95% of the time.

My turn to rant....
This year I was having a hard time visually
picking up the ball while batting.
I was hitting the world's shortest single or
juusssst making it over the infielder's head.
I got on base alot...Singles...and had a couple solid
shots...not like 2007...except the one shot was a shot
and almost made it out. Yes Badmojo...ALMOST
is the key word! LEGS WORKED! Running Macheen!
Turns out...my Eye Doctor had changed my
Contact prescription to Monovision...which in turn
screws up depth perception. The main resaon I was swinging
a half second early. Never Struck out though!
My contacts now have a depth perception lens.
And now we will be looking at my hits going out and not up!
Where was Dr Raker when I needed him!
Obviously looking up!

Wood Bat Baseball Tournament
October 18-22, 2008 in Tucson, AZ

If there is interest....we would need to field a team of
Thirteen(13) and players must be 40 and over.
Eligibility is by playing in a Fantasy Camp in the last 10 years.
Old School Wood! and Live Pitching!
We would need pitching and NO we can't bring the
machine and put a jersey on it.
If we could find a sponsor...costs would be LOW!
I wonder if Les Lancaster is available?!?
Estimated cost to play would be $730 per player. This fee
does NOT include Hotel and Airfare to Tucson.
Fee would include the expenses for a Cubs coach.
So....Who's In? Badmojo? U In? Cost is in your budget!
Wad about the DeCarlo boyzz.....?

Camp news one of these days.....

Wine! Whine! Whine! Wine!

I appreciate the love for my blog. There is no doubt
I need to update the camp news.
Plus I have sped up the download since some
technology whizzes out there still use dial up modems.

Plans changed and I made it into LAX....and I'm sitting in
the American Airlines club updating the blog and working
on the camp news. Better late than never!

Word is buzzing on the blog...and I don't want to lose the
fandom and interest.
Single Game Cubs tickets go on sale Feb 22nd! It's getting close boys and girls. And the 2008 season will give Sherm something to rant and rave about.Actually watched the movie Fever Pitch on the way to
LA LA Land. Good baseball and chick flick.
Interesting thing is that the Red Sox won the
World Series the year the movie was filmed.
Maybe it's time to film a movie about the
Cubs and Wrigley.
It's 100 hundred years this year.
Time to squish the past.....
