AS PROMISED! UPDATE! HUG ME!

The Blog is updated!
No Worries.
I know you miss me.
Jim Edmonds has been catching alot of balls lately.
Some days he steps up - other days he does not.
On the Cardinals, Edmonds was rumored to
sing "I got the world in my hands"

Obviously he isn't lying.
Add your own caption!

"Is that a Bat in your hand or you
Happy to see me?"

On a up note! Rick Sutcliffe is back in
the ESPN booth!
Congrats to Rick.
He looks a little thinner and I hope that
he will be at the 2009 camp!
WELCOME BACK RICK!

We got lucky on this one

Prior has tear in right shoulder capsule
May 16th, 2008
Corey Brock / MLB.com

Mark Prior's road back to pitching in the Major League has hit a speedbump.
Prior's agent John Boggs confirmed Friday that the right-hander has a tear in
the capsule of his right shoulder, the shoulder he had surgery on in April 2007.

Weekend of Faith, Miracles, Belief, Hope and Prayers!

FAITH
A year ago on Memorial Day weekend
my brother had an emergency heart surgery.
Which turned into a heart transplant
with 72 hours to live.
The odds of finding a heart with an exact
match is slim to none with many people
on waiting lists for years. To find a heart that matches
in less than 12 hours is a MIRACLE....and turned me
into a BELIEVER!
Happy Birthday Jeff! For turning 19
a second time in life!

HOPE

I don't get it!
I was getting my faith back on Soriano.
And he drops the ball.
EVEN I caught everything hit to me in
all the camps that I have played in.
Rain! Sleet! Snow and Sun in
Mesa's Center field I caught.
I HOPE this is a minor setback.
PRAYERS!
And now to some serious stuff.
As many of you may or may not know...
Rick Sutcliffe has Colon Cancer.
The Doctor's feel that they have caught
it in time before it spreads.
Rick and his daughter-Shelby
Rick is a CLASS act and one of the
nicest guys that I have ever had the
pleasure of meeting.
Read the story and say a
prayer for Rick and his family.
Rick deserves to be back at camp in 2009.
Thanks to Sean G for the Story.

Let's get Some Runs!

Can you hear it!?!
We need to get our bats steamin' again.
The 2nd worst team in the Majors
and we end up with a Goose egg.
Who's your underdog!
Bring in Sherm...he can hit better than
they did Sunday.
Have you noticed how the Cubs have a crummy
summer schedule at home in May, June and July?
BAM! POW! ZOWEE!
Holy Right Hook!

One weekend game in the month of June and
it's against the Sox!
Wonder what festivities we will see.
Could be the teams in the World Series!
That would make the 100 year wait worth it.

Friday, April 25, 2008

Was up!?!

Cubs need to start scoring again. The bats went silent.
Even Joe Pepitone agrees...

I know you want to read it!
Good things come to those who wait.

Okay...Bitch Time!
What is with this Soriano hop?

Day in the Life of Lou!

As Sherm mentioned in his Blog...
Lou said "Winning Ugly is better than winning pretty!"

Not from what I found out about Lou!
What does Lou do...thats funny...Lou Do...more on the
Lou Do!

Lou starts out his day by kissing his wife Goodbye
before he heads to the office.

Ole Lou arrives to the "Office"
Wrigley Field and realizes he forgot to shave.
What does Louie do next!
It's time for a new Lou DO and a Shave
Next on the Agenda!
Back to the office and Lou finds out that
beer sales ended during the 7th inning.
What does Lou DO!?
He makes sure that he's seen and heard
and instigates the crowd into a frenzy.
That is what Lou Does...
!!!!!
Then it's back to home for some "Honey Do's
instead of some "Lou Do's"

Gotta Love Lou!
Go Cubs!

And.....the Season started, April Fools Day is Over, and....!!?!

First of all...Yeah...Whatever. I'm back
Second...my bud Greg Porter.
Sent down to Triple AAA Yankees.
Had a great spring considering the pressure
of a Rookie baseball "Rock Star"

Sitting in the 'burbs of Chicago waiting to get my
'07 taxes done. By the way a plug for
Barrington Financial Services.
You don't have a great tax and financial adviser...
Have I got the guy for you!
WAIT! Lo' and behold the Cubs come back to
beat the 'Stroholes 9-7.
Check Sherm's blog out for more happy whining!
Vent time! What is gong on with the gas prices!
$3.57 in Chicago...$3.16 in Texas where we make
the damn stuff!
This is what my piggy bank looks like!
I'm supposed to have $$ in here.
I was asked by my Financial Adviser if
I was going to take out an equity loan
for Gas!

And your wondering what is happening to all the $$
all these Sheik's are making?
They don't need butt wipers!
Or a Gold plated Toilet...

No! How about an Audi built in Silver.
Bend Over - I'll Drive!

Brewers played the Cubs this week!

Good to see the Brewers cheerleaders were
out in full force.

Meet my last 90 days....
Forget the Lemons!
Anyone care to join me?

As my Grandmother used to say....
Thanks for missing me!

Cubs aiming to end 100 years of solitude

News on the Cubs Web Site

My turn to do a Sherm....I am tired of the
F***'n Goat Story!
It needs to come out of the media reports every Spring.
Kinda like my grandmother's teeth
TAKE EM OUT!
Let's get on with life already.

Leave Bartman alone!

A guy in a $75 seat messes with a baseball
millionaire and takes the team down!
C'mon!? If I used all these excuses during my
workday, I would be out of business!
and saying "Would you like to Supersize it?!!"

Cubs!
You spent the $$$$! You have the talent!
Let's quit the bitching, moaning, excuses and
make it happen!
You have Fukadome, Lee, Ramirez, Soriano and
Wood...matter of fact give me some Wood and
WIN the Division, National League Championship
and most of all the 2008 World Series!

The National League Central Division is
practically handing you first place.
The Brewers look like they may be your only competition!

100 Years No moh! No moh!

Comments are welcome below!
or bitches for that Matter!

Cubs Tickets for Sale!

YUuuuuuuuuUUUUUPPP!!

Got some Cubs Tickets for the May 31st game against
the Colorado Rockies!

BULL PEN TiCKETS
Four of Em!
They are going for $375
to $500 per seat on StubHub.
Nuts!
For you....$275 a seat.
Finally...Yes
Sherm I do have an eye
for talent. Podsednik worked hard on his rehab
and the Sox and Cubs will have lost a
great prospect. Greg Porter of the
Yankees is my next pick for success!
It's time to become an agent.
