What else happened this weekend?
Steve Trout was fired into his first 30 days
as the manager for the Texarkana GunSlingers.
If he was anything like he was at Cubs Camp..
then why should anyone be surprised.

And Finally...met Ryno this weekend.
Signed my jersey and enjoyed our conversation.

Ryno signs up to 200 plus autographs

before every Peoria Chiefs game.

I was honored to meet him before the game
and we discussed how Sherm was doing,

the Murnyak strain, and Badmojo's new additions.

I didn't realize he is a big guy with hands the size
of a baseball glove.

Had a good time in Peoria and spent time with
my brother. He is coming along well.

And took my nephew to the Chiefs game and
he received a Ryne Sandburg signed baseball.

• I'm in Peoria taking my nephew to the Peoria Chiefs game
• We are 3-1 over the Sox in the "L" series
• The Cardinals and Brewers are losing too!
• Mama DeCarlo - Had her views printed in the
  USA TODAY on Friday. Go MAMA DeCarlo!
• Gas is avg $4.10 a gallon. Hook a hose up to
  my nephew and we could drop the price a gallon or two

Some days he steps up - other days he does not.
On the Cardinals, Edmonds was rumored to
